Job Description Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst positions primary responsibility is to turn data into information to help manage each account. Typically this involves analyses of complex data sets including loss runs claims reports third party liability figures and workers compensation details risk reports and training reports.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will feature prominently in all the prework required to conduct a business review for an account. The analyst is striving to uncover information that demonstrates the value of our program to the customer or reveals why certain unintended outcomes are happening so they can be corrected before they are serious problems. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales on the Business Intelligence Managers team.
Job Responsibilities:
Specific activities include but are not limited to:
Proactively finding ways to support the sale management expansion and renewal of accounts.
Monitoring and reporting on the performance of pilot programs.
Generating ROI analysis for prospects and customers.
Participate with team in the creation of annual strategic account plans for each account.
Creating a plan to manage account dynamics such as retention growth opportunities and compliance problems that arise out of monthly team meetings.
Required Skills:

Superior verbal and written communication skills;
Selfmotivation and the ability to work on own initiative;
The ability to work under pressure;
The ability to work internally with personnel from all levels;
Tact and the ability to deal with difficult situations; and
An interest in career development and training within the workplace.
A University Degree in Mathematics
Advanced MS Office computer software skills particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint;
