Job Description:
The hiring company a leader in PVC pipe manufacturing is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Houston Texas location.
This role requires handson expertise in electrical maintenance mechanical troubleshooting pneumatic systems hydraulics and PLC systems.
The company specializes in providing highquality PVC piping solutions for industries including construction agriculture and municipal services.
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment ensuring smooth operations.
Candidates with a strong background in industrial maintenance particularly with pneumatic hydraulic and electrical systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all industrial safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including relay logic and PLC systems
Read and interpret wiring schematics and electrical diagrams to ensure functionality
Troubleshoot AC/DC motors and wire control voltage circuits
Use electric arc welding and cutting torches to fabricate and repair equipment
Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Work with highvoltage systems using multimeters to read ohms amps and volts
Maintain and troubleshoot various industrial pumps including vacuum water booster and hydraulic pumps
Position Requirements
Minimum of two years experience in industrial maintenance
Proficiency in relay logic control wiring and Start/Stop circuits
Knowledge of limit switches sensors and contractors
Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment such as valves cylinders and pumps
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational/ Technical Certificate is preferred but not required
