Job Description
Civil Engineer/Project Manager
Location: Prince Georges County Maryland
We are seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients overseeing project staffing resource allocation scheduling and financial management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring engineering design staff ensuring the successful execution of projects and fostering positive client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary liaison for client relations ensuring project satisfaction and effective communication.
- Manage all aspects of project execution including staffing scheduling and resource allocation.
- Supervise and mentor design staff providing guidance training and performance evaluations.
- Write proposals addenda and other projectrelated documentation.
- Liaise with senior management to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Support business development efforts with a focus on client retention and growth.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- 10 years of experience in land development civil engineering and construction management in Prince Georges County Maryland.
- 5 years of experience in managing and supervising civil engineering design teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with entitlement work is a plus.
- Proficient in AutoCAD other industry design software and Microsoft Office.
- Fulltime inoffice position. Remote work options may be available in future.
