Job Description
Job Title: Urgent Need Xray Technician (Allied)
Location: Rochester NY 14617
Pay Rate: $60$63/hr
Duration: 13 weeks contract
Shift: Rotating
Guarantee Hours: 32
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Xray equipment.
- Position patients correctly and ensure comfort during the procedure.
- Operate Xray machines and ensure highquality images are captured.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
- Document and report imaging results and patient data accurately.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results.
Requirements:
- XRay Tech NY license required
- 32 hours with option to pick up an extra shift.
- Orientation/ Training 12/02 12/4 730am730pm.
- Actual start date of shift would be Sunday 12/08 7am730pm.
- The entire shift schedule would be combination of 12s and 8s . Schedule is Sunday 7am730pm Mon 2pm1030p and Sat 730a8p. Candidate will be required to work on Christmas Day 3p11p. No call.
- Must have recent XRay tech experience within the last 6 months to year.
- Must have 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
- Candidates must have Philips experience EPIC and Carm experience.
- Department has Philips rooms Carestream portables and OEC c arms.
