Python Engineer
$56K/yr $76K/yr

Location: Irvine CA ( onsite )
Experience
Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve Edwards products by developing requirementbased test cases tests analyze results and make recommendations.
- Other duties assigned by Leadership
- Report and validate defects in software
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Scientific field is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within a regulated industry (Medical Device strongly preferred)
Additional Skills:
- Experience with continuous integration tools (ie Jenkins DevOps) automation using tools such as Python and Squish
- Understand and apply testing concepts like adhoc and exploratory testing
- Solid understanding of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)
- Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite
- Good documentation communication (e.g. written and verbal) and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
- Basic understanding of statistical techniques
- Solid understanding and knowledge of principles theories and concepts relevant to Engineering
- Solid problemsolving organizational analytical and critical thinking skills
- Solid understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
