Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detailoriented Pool Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of pools to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our clients. The Pool Cleaner will perform routine cleaning chemical balancing and equipment maintenance tasks to keep pools in optimal condition.
Responsibilities:
- Pool Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning of pool surfaces including skimming vacuuming and brushing to remove debris and dirt.
- Chemical Balancing: Monitor and adjust chemical levels in pools to ensure proper water balance including pH chlorine and other relevant chemicals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect clean and maintain pool equipment such as filters pumps and skimmers. Report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Tile and Grout Maintenance: Clean and maintain pool tiles and grout to prevent the buildup of algae and other contaminants.
- Water Quality Testing: Conduct regular water quality tests and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies such as pool contamination or equipment failures in a timely and effective manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients addressing their concerns and providing information on pool maintenance and usage guidelines.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules chemical treatments and maintenance activities.
- Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and pool industry standards.
- Training: Stay informed about the latest pool cleaning techniques equipment and industry trends. Attend relevant training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Pool Cleaner or in a related role is preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of pool cleaning techniques water chemistry and equipment maintenance.
- Certifications: Certification in pool maintenance or relevant training is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear information.
- Reliability: Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or evenings as required.
