Job Description
Work location: Midland TX
Job Type: C2C/Fulltime/W2
Job Description:
Expedites flow of materials parts and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Assists in determining possible and actual shortages may initiate action to correct these deficiencies.
Uses knowledge of production procurement and engineering departments to alert proper authorities regarding potential problems and appropriate remedial action.
Estimates and logs production rate and time expenditures and may be required to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates.
Tracks inventory levels and monitors inventory in WIP OnHold MRB & InInspection locations.
Works with material planning toensure materials are ordered in time to support scheduling & operations.
Issues sped and obsolete material through MRP/ERP systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years additional education and/or related experience
Basic Math
Intermediate computer knowledge
Utilizes ERP & Electronic Work Instruction system to track parts through production to meet customer demand and set priorities for Work In Process (WIP)
Position requires 80% of time on shop floor coordinating and controlling product flow and 20% of time updating systems to ensure accurate records in systems
This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending stooping kneeling carrying tools lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
Preferred Qualifications:
Use of office automation tools such as Microsoft Excel
