Job Description:
Overview:
The Warehouse cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the packaging department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains housekeeping standards by assuring floors are clean using floor scrubbers and mops.
- Cleans and wipes down equipment and work surfaces and sanitizes as necessary.
- Assures an organized workplace and removes clutter and waste from the department.
- Performs other functions as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1year experience working in an industrial setting preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to climb ladders walk and stand constantly reach bend twist rotate push and pull frequently lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
- Must be willing to work nights weekends rotating shifts holidays and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work safely and follow established procedures.
- Packaging cleaners will relieve operators at designated workstations.
- Must be able to work in heat and humidity.
