Job Title: LEAD
Work Location: SAN ANTONIO TX
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
Ensure fellow team members are using proper tooling Engineering drawings and working on highest priority jobs/shop requests.
Review drawings specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product sequence of operations and/or setup operations.
Verify that job transactions are being done accurately and timely.
Consistently ensure staff are performing at expected throughput Levels. Motivate staff to make improvements.
Routinely verify conformance of finished part to ensure that it meets specifications.
Perform routine quality checks on each team member.
Perform daily maintenance duties and/or notify supervisor of any equipmentrelated issues that may require attention.
Maintain clean and orderly shop.
Fill in as needed to maintain adequate team members in given areas.
Maintain machine schedule for jobs and preventative maintenance.
Track output to ensure efficiency of production.
Maintain a daily routine operator checklist.
Meet weekly with Supervisor to provide updates and feedback on Machine Fabrication and Paint Shops.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interpret drawing specifications and determine dimensions and tolerances.
Skilled in the use of measuring tools and equipment (micrometers calipers indicators height gauges air gauges and optical comparator).
Ability to accurately add subtract multiply and divide numbers.
Excel in a fastpaced work environment.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Four years of experience as a lead.
