Job Title: Linux Administrator
Duration: 12 months
Location: Ottawa Canada (Hybrid)
Visa Requirements: Canadian citizen or PR holder (Canada background check required)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux/RedHat systems ensuring seamless operation and performance.
- Implement and manage Jenkins Ansible and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) in the environment.
- Develop and maintain scripts in shell and Python to automate various tasks.
- Debug and resolve system issues by checking logs and other diagnostics.
- Manage and maintain Tomcat and Kubernetes servers.
- Utilize AWS services effectively.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) troubleshoot proactively resolve issues and triage problems to find resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Handson experience with Jenkins Ansible and PKI.
- Proficient in scripting languages specifically shell and Python.
- Strong system administration skills with a focus on Linux/RedHat.
- Solid knowledge of Tomcat Kubernetes and AWS.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven ability to follow SOPs troubleshoot resolve issues proactively and triage problems efficiently.
