Job Description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning and formulation of alternatives and design solutions for the construction project.
  • Communicate with customer representatives on an ongoing basis regarding project progress and areas of interest.
  • Develop and manage project budgets financial controls contracts and quality control provisions.
  • Direct work sequences to speed up project delivery and minimize disruption of ongoing processes.
  • Ensure that project processes comply with design specifications and client requirements
  • Examines and proposes the approval and acceptance of completed projects
  • Ensure compliance with standards building codes safety and engineering specifications.
  • Examine and prepare various reports related to processes procedures and other issues as appropriate.
  • Oversee all aspects of daytoday project management.

Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Science/Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of experience in major international programs and projects for leading government/semigovernment entities with a documented professional history of excellence in project implementation as a direct project manager.
  • Experience in direct supervision of the following functional disciplines: Engineering Project Control Contracts Procurement Health Safety Security Environment Risk Management Financial Management Quality Assurance and Quality Control. He gained his experience from large projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Deep experience working on a global scale (preferably in the Middle East/Saudi Arabia).
  • He has previously worked with a wide range of utility service providers and has dealt extensively with stakeholders from the commercial and public sectors.
  • Previously he worked in the Continuous Improvement and Capacity Building / Talent Development Support Department.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects in a fastmoving and challenging environment.
  • Proven experience in construction infrastructure and leading highperformance teams.
  • Computer familiarity in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
