TypeScript Backend Developer
Format: remote time zone UTC 2
B2B contract
We are looking for a skilled TypeScript Backend Developer to join our team and work on cuttingedge backend solutions. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to develop optimize and maintain robust systems using modern tools and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend applications using TypeScript and Nest.js.
- Design and implement APIs including handling complex business logic.
- Work with PostgreSQL using Prisma ORM for efficient data modeling and queries.
- Manage caching and message queues using Redis Bull and EventEmitter2.
- Ensure smooth deployment and scaling using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Debug and test APIs using tools like Postman.
- Collaborate on code management and workflows using GitHub and Linear.
- Communicate effectively with the team via Discord.
Tech Stack:
- Languages & Frameworks: TypeScript Node.js Nest.js (Express Bull EventEmitter2)
- Databases: PostgreSQL Prisma ORM
- Caching & Queues: Redis
- Infrastructure: Docker Kubernetes
- Workflow Tools: GitHub Linear Discord Postman
Requirements:
- 2 years of commercial experience with required tech stack.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js.
- Handson experience with Nest.js and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases especially PostgreSQL and ORM tools like Prisma.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and message queue systems like Bull.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work in collaborative environments using tools like GitHub and Discord.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and debugging tools (e.g. Postman).
NicetoHaves:
- Experience with additional cloud platforms or DevOps tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
- A proactive and problemsolving mindset.
