Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Tool Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to their continued success in delivering precisionengineered parts. This role focuses on developing and implementing multistation coldforming tooling working closely with production operators and ensuring designs meet highquality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed multistation cold forming tooling.
- Design and implement tooling to support production needs.
- Collaborate directly with operators on the production floor.
- Analyze rough drafts and specifications to develop final designs.
- Utilize advanced simulation software for tool design.
- Prepare and maintain drawings according to company standards.
- Manage the production job board and inspect incoming tooling.
- Modify and revise designs to improve efficiency and reduce production issues.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD SolidWorks and Simufact.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience in time and project management.
- Multiple years of experience in mechanical engineering with cold heading experience preferred.
