Job Description

About the Position:

We are seeking a versatile Senior Administrative Assistant/Controller with strong Excel skills and a solid foundation in finance and accounting. This role requires adaptability and a willingness to handle a variety of tasks both routine and complex.

  • Position: Fulltime
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Language: Fluent English
  • Location: Remote/hybrid in Karachi near the main business center with potential for future officebased work. We currently do not have an active office in Karachi but this may change.

In this role you will primarily support our Norwegian office and play a key role in assisting our management team. Although flexible work hours are available core hours are from 09:00 to 15:00 CET (12:00 to 18:00 PKT). Our organizational structure is relatively flat and this position will be integral to our Norwegian team as we move forward. There is potential for the role to evolve based on your engagement and competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

The position will encompass a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Document Management: Process incoming documents such as invoices and receipts by downloading organizing and submitting them to our accounting system.
  • Financial Reporting: Update cash flow charts in collaboration with management.
  • Meeting Support: Attend meetings take minutes and track tasks.
  • Company Information Maintenance: Assist in updating company profiles on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Consultant Administration: Maintain and update records for consultants including key dates and followup actions.
  • Reporting and Presentation Preparation: Pull reports from internal systems and prepare presentation materials.
  • General Administrative Support: Handle various adhoc tasks such as updating budget templates and other administrative duties as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and general system skills.
  • Highly organized detailoriented and selfmotivated.
  • Able to use AI to translate from Norwegian make content etc.
  • Residing near the main business center in Karachi with flexibility for potential officebased work in the future.

  • It is not a requirement but an advantage if you are familiar with Power BI/Dashboards.
