Quality Assistant Gent (Belgium)

Your Mission

As a Quality Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality Manager by coordinating quality operations related to products processes and deliveries. Your efforts will directly contribute to customer satisfaction employee engagement and the organization’s strategic goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure product and process quality meets customer requirements and complies with internal procedures.
  • Maintain adherence to guidelines and quality management systems including compliance with IATF standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for plant performance focusing on processes products and delivery quality.
  • Address and resolve quality deviations proactively.
  • Assess and enhance the overall quality management system.
  • Provide regular reports on quality management activities and key performance metrics.
  • Manage quality management documentation and evaluate related processes and records.
  • Facilitate effective communication and meetings with customers and suppliers.
  • Plan coordinate and execute internal and external audits certifications and FMEAs.
  • Train employees on the company’s quality goals and standards.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working in the quality department of a manufacturing or production company.
  • Familiarity with IATF standards and principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
