What will I be doing
As a Pastry Cook II you would be responsible for creating preparing producing & baking breads rolls breakfast pastries and desserts according to standard recipes to contribute the overall guest satisfaction. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Creates prepares produces and bakes all baked goods for restaurants and banquets. Decorates pastries with creativity and skill.
- Maintains an adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration of products.
- Ensures spoilage/waste is kept to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products. Set daily pars on all products to ensure freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with sanitation standards at all times
- Ensure knowledge of the menu and all food products
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as needed
- Other duties as assigned
