Job Description

Role: Federal Business Development Specialist

Location: Dulles VA USA

Salary Range: $60000 $125000 (based on experience and qualifications) commission

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (12 days remote per week after phasein period)

Our client is seeking a BD Specialist to drive growth within their moving / storage company! You will play a critical role in expanding their government services. This autonomous role will focus on government accounts while collaborating with the team managing corporate accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal government accounts focusing on logistics and moving services.
  • Engage in strategic cold calling and network with key decisionmakers to drive account acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with federal agencies ensuring they receive comprehensive support and timely service.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for government accounts addressing inquiries coordinating logistics solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales activities including cold calls client visits and revenue generation using company metrics.


Qualifications

  • 2 years of business development or sales experience with a focus on logistics or residential moving preferred.
  • Understanding of customs international regulations transit times and delivery scheduling for logistics services.
  • Familiarity with ZoomInfo or similar tools for lead generation.
