Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Quantico Virginia in search of a highly talented Software Developer.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in providing toplevel expertise in support of the Department of Justice. The ideal candidate will design maintain and implement GOTS software develop original applications and work with various programming languages and technologies.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design maintain and implement GOTS software based on specific requirements
- Develop original software applications from highlevel concepts
- Create software tools that integrate with thirdparty tools and utilities
- Develop and maintain large and complex software systems
- Implement webbased query and reporting systems
- Produce specifications and design documentation
- Create project work estimates and implement solutions
- Utilize COTS software to the maximum extent practicable
- Work with ISS and security standards for SBU and classified data
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Software Development or Computer Science
- 2 years of software development experience in a production environment
- Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI w CI Poly preferred)
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including C# Python PowerShell and ASP.NET
- Experience with SQL XML WSDL and Angular
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture
- Familiarity with FISMA standards
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of objectoriented programming particularly in C#
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in cloud technologies especially Azure
- Expertise in SQL threading and async/sync calls
- Experience with containers and Docker
- Strong skills in XML/JSON parsing and UI development
- Proficiency in web application development
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Ability to work in a Windows environment
Screening Questions:
- Do you have an active Top Secret or above clearance
- Are you willing to work 100% onsite at Quantico with the potential for one day remote after a performancebased assessment
- Do you have experience with frontend development including Angular TypeScript and UI design
