Job Type: Fulltime
Job Summary:
As an ExpressEngine Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining our web applications using the ExpressionEngine platform. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers designers and stakeholders to deliver featurerich and userfriendly applications that meet business and technical requirements. This role requires deep knowledge of ExpressionEngine PHP and web development best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop customize and maintain websites and applications using the ExpressionEngine CMS.
- Collaborate with designers to implement and refine the visual design in line with user experience and usability standards.
- Write clean welldocumented and reusable code in PHP and ExpressionEngines templating language.
- Manage and configure ExpressionEngine addons and plugins to extend functionality.
- Integrate thirdparty services and APIs as needed to support application features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and propose solutions that align with project goals.
- Optimize websites for speed scalability and responsive design.
- Maintain security standards ensuring data protection and compliance with industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years of handson experience with ExpressionEngine development.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js React or Angular) is a plus.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with ExpressionEngine addons and thirdparty integrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in other CMS platforms or a broader range of development frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloudbased environments.
