The Role:
In this pivotal role you will play a key part in igniting students passion for Computer Science. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and stimulating lessons that cater to the National Curriculum and the schools specific curriculum objectives.
- Utilizing innovative teaching methods and technology to create a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
- Effectively assessing and monitoring student progress providing personalized feedback and guidance to ensure their academic development.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of the Computer Science curriculum collaborating with colleagues within the department.
- Fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Computer Science or a relevant subject.
- A minimum of two years successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge with a passion for inspiring students and igniting their interest in Computer Science.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- The ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes inclusion and differentiation.
