Four Seasons Alexandria is looking for an Assistant Director of Engineering who has the ability to assist the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.
What You Will Do
Engineering University Degree (Mechanical/Electrical).
From two to five years of management employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organization.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential for managing a diverse team and ensuring smooth operations within the engineering department.
Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety, along with troubleshooting and repair skills.
Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects, including renovations, installations, or major repairs, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within budget.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to think quickly and find effective solutions to technical problems, especially in emergency situations.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation, to keep the engineering department within budget.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all tasks are performed to a high standard and that no detail is overlooked, whether it’s routine maintenance or major capital improvements.
Communication Skills: Clear communication is crucial, especially when interacting with vendors, contractors, other departments, or the hotel management team.
Organizational Skills: The ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects while keeping everything on track and ensuring deadlines are met.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to ensure the workplace and the property are compliant and safe.
