Job Description
Location: Hillingdon West London
An outstanding secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a passionate and engaging Geography Teacher to join their thriving Humanities department on a fulltime permanent basis. The Role:
- Deliver inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and expertise.
- Bring the world to life through engaging storytelling interactive activities and fieldwork opportunities.
- Foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts processes and environments encouraging students to analyze and interpret spatial data.
- Develop and implement a dynamic and challenging Geography curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Geography.
- A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Geography.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- A passion for Geography and a commitment to fostering geographical literacy and global awareness in young people.
