Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Security Counter Measure (TSCM) Technician to work on government installations scanning for unauthorized networks (WiFi and Bluetooth) to safeguard national security.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of office spaces to detect and neutralize unauthorized surveillance threats.
  • Follow established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure thorough inspections.
  • Accurately document all inspection activities and findings.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of daily operations ensuring clarity and completeness.
  • Present clear concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates.
  • Prepare written reports in the PFPASSD report format within five days of investigation detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Operate and manage advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment.
  • Analyze signal data resolve detected anomalies and maintain a signals database for historical comparison of signal threats.
  • Provide guidance on neutralizing threat signals based on analysis findings.
  • Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as mandated by PFPA.
  • Assist in TSCM investigations including instrumented and physical searches of all possible signal transmission mediums and communication network systems.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD IA30 and PFPA policies governing the workplace.
  • Complete mandatory training within the required timeframe.
  • Support the PFPA by coordinating and completing various business matters proactively.
  • Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Provide briefings to senior DoD executives and policy decisionmakers as required.

Must Haves:

  • Completion of the Department of Defense TSCM Service School or Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of TSCM experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon or other DoD facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR).
  • Valid drivers license without special restrictions.


Location: Onsite work in Washington D.C.

Salary: $120000 $165000
