We are searching for a dedicated CDL Driver Recruiter to join our team. This role is instrumental in attracting hiring and retaining qualified CDL drivers to meet our companys transportation needs. Core Responsibilities in Driver Recruitment
- Identify and engage potential CDL driver candidates through various recruitment channels.
- Manage endtoend recruitment processes from job posting to offer letter issuance.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified CDL drivers for current and future needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific driver requirements and refine recruiting strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of recruiting activities candidate interactions and hiring outcomes.
- Stay informed on industry trends to effectively compete for top CDL driving talent.
Essential Qualifications for a Successful Driver Recruiter
- A minimum of 6 Months experience in recruitment preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
- High school diploma or GED; bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with candidates and internal teams.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as they apply to CDL drivers.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a teamoriented environment.
