Job description:
The General Accounting Professional plays a vital role in the daytoday accounting operations of the business. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills for problem solving and resolution of issues. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at a time is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial statements and analysis
- Analyze financial reports
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles
- Work closely with team members to assist with the monthend close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Payroll processing
- Prepare financial reports for taxes regulatory agencies and stockholders
- Maintain account balances and bank statements
- Manage general ledger and assist monthend/yearend close processes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications:
- 4 years of professional US accounting experience
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Business Administration major in Accountancy or any Accounting related courses
- Knowledge of different accounting software such as Quickbooks online Netsuite or Sage Intacct preferred
- CPA preferred
