Job Description
- Production Planning
- Long term midterm and short term planning of production.
- Production scheduling.
- Control of outsourced and inhouse production.
- Collection of information from sales department and customer EDI portal regarding customer production.
- Conduct daily weekly and monthly production scheduling meetings with relevant departments.
- Monitor progress for design changes.
- Plan procurement of raw materials and other required materials.
- Coordinate planning for product launches.
- Maintain inventory levels as per agreed norms.
- Control delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on longterm workload according to production forecasts of customers.
- Production Preparation
- Monitor jigs and other production facilities.
- Prepare for product launches.
- Maintain the production planning system (TOPAS).
- Production Trial Management
- Plan production trials and communicate schedules internally.
- Procure raw materials and other necessary materials for production trials.
- Manage trial parts.
- Control costs related to trials.
- Other Responsibilities
- Establish departmentrelated guidelines (QMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs); revise as needed.
- Manage customer and internal audits.
- Provide training and instructions to subordinates.
- Implement and manage 5S principles.
