We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role is integral in providing expert legal representation and advice to clients navigating the complexities of workers compensation claims. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating for employee rights while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers compensation cases including preparation negotiation and trial proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Evaluate cases to determine appropriate legal strategies and solutions for client needs.
- Draft and file necessary legal documents including motions briefs and appeals.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients updating them on case progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to gather evidence and build strong cases.
- Participate in settlement negotiations mediations and hearings as required.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in workers compensation law or equivalent legal practice.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal workers compensation statutes and procedures.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain attention to detail in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality.
