Legal Assistant
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an established firm with offices in five major commercial centers across the state of California. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Assistantto join our growing firm.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Will have 3 6 years of California Litigation experience
- Preferred experience includes business litigation healthcare litigation and insurance coverage litigation but this is not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of federal and state court filing rules and procedures
- Efiling preparing tables of contents and authorities
- Preparing discovery shells and very familiar with the litigation life cycle of a case.
- Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills and great attention to detail.
- High client interaction and communication.
- Excellent followup initiative organizational and calendaring skills are required.
- Excellent typing formatting editing redlining and computer software skills needed with specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher Outlook and iManage or similar document management system.
- Knowledge of CompuLaw Best Authority Adobe Pro Kofax Comparite and CCC Macros is a plus.
