Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Civil Engineer specializing in structural engineering to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish. If you have a strong background in civil or structural engineering and enjoy overseeing complex projects we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the management of construction projects in various sectors including residential industrial buildings public facilities and infrastructure.
- Oversee the planning design and execution of structural engineering projects ensuring that all designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Ensure project completion within agreed timelines and budgets while maintaining highquality standards.
- Collaborate with architects contractors and clients to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take full ownership of the project from concept to delivery managing all stakeholders and ensuring optimal outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction projects (residential industrial buildings public infrastructure etc.).
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.
- Strong references from previous employers to validate past project leadership experience.
- Stable professional track record demonstrating the ability to see projects through all phases.
- Excellent knowledge of Swiss building codes and construction regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering software (AutoCAD Revit etc.).
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills with fluency in French (other languages are a plus).
- Detailoriented precise and capable of working autonomously.
