Our client is Africas leading innovative media company informing and engaging Africa s young audience and
producing content and creative digital marketing solutions for top brands. They are also a marketing partner empowering brands with our expansive media reach and 360 degree inhouse marketing solutions. Due to expansion they need a CHIEF OF STAFF.
LOCATION: Lagos.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing the implementation of strategic initiatives from development through execution under the supervision of the senior leadership team.
- Assisting executive leadership in decisionmaking and programmed management.
- Serve as liaison with staff executives senior leaders and CEO regarding company climateemployee wellbeing project updates proposals and planning.
- Oversee daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and department leaders and perform administrative tasks such as managing calendars generating correspondencemaintaining hard copies and electronic files planning and coordinating annual corporate meetings and scheduling facilities.
- Develop and build on relationships with all employees to increase efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with CEO and other executives on special projects.
- Serve as a subjectmatter expert handling inquiries developing action plans and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business management or executive role especially within Africa.
- Experience in organizing and directing multicultural teams and departments
- Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Experience with project planning and management
- Experience preparing for board meetings and presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills French knowledge will be an additional advantage
- Experience in data analysis and budget management
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Nimble business mind focused on developing creative solutions
- Strong projectreporting skills with a focus on interdepartmental communication
