A highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic team on a fulltime permanent basis. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and stimulating curriculum that fosters a love of learning and encourages students to reach their full potential.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Computer Science department and across the school to share best practices and enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in technology and education to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and engaging.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level (Key Stages 3 4 and 5).
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
