Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Geography teacher to inspire the next generation of geographers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department and make a lasting impact on students learning and understanding of the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of geography critical thinking and problemsolving.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of geographical concepts theories and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Geography department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Geography and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
