Role & Responsibilities

Your main responsibility as a Payment officer is to support the Finance department with the payments invoicing and treasury management.

Your duties in this role will include:

  • Liquidity Management ensuring all payment obligations are met timely as well as providing accurate anticipations of expected end of day balances in all currencies.
  • Managing vendors including vendor relationships and internal compliance processing
  • Managing Multiline and SWIFTNet administration and process invoices in our CRM system
  • Processing Multiline transactions in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Sending approval reminders for invoices and transactions to respective signers
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to proactively resolve potential challenges and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Handling other administrative adhoc tasks related to payments and vendor services
  • Supporting with the preparation of payment and transaction reports


Profile

  • University degree with an emphasis in finance
  • Previous experience in a similar role or an apprenticeship with similar tasks
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and diligent attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software application
  • Fluency in English and French
