Job Description

DEPOSITARY OPERATION OFFICER

Major Duties :

1. Provides Depositary Operation services to AIFs/complex funds

2. Is starting to develop a technical knowledge of the fund regulations

3. Prepares fund board reports and monthly reports that require a thorough review

4. Completes allocated tests as part of on site inspection process

5. Completes fund NAV reviews

6. Performs investment restriction oversight including update to the breaches registers

7. Requires supervision for the majority of allocated tasks

8. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines

9. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts

10. Works effectively as a team member but also independently

11. Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the job

12. Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job

Knowledge:

Good oral and written communication skills are required

Basic Functional / Industry Knowledge is preferred.

Analytical and problem solving skills are required.

Technical skills / systems knowledge is preferred.
