Job brief
We are seeking a Technical Lead to provide guidance and direction to the project team on technical procedures and processes standards and integration requirements.
Responsibilities
- Act as technical subject matter expert for the project maintaining a full understanding of the business requirements and how they are supported by the overall solution being delivered.
- Build and maintain relationships with solution vendors technical counterparts in order to facilitate open communication on projects.
- Accountable for delivering solution designs that confirm to agreed solution architectures and technology standards and mitigates risks.
- Responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring delivered solutions meet business technical and quality requirements.
- Accountable for delivering technical documentation such as solution design description and operational support guide.
- Identify nonproduction (DEV SIT UAT etc.) and production environment build/change requirements and raise the required
requests and change records. - Create change records for production implementations.
- Accountable for ensuring changes to computer operations procedures are documented; communicated and agreed with Computer Operations before implementation.
- Responsible for representing Changes at TAB/CAB.
- Responsible for preparing and presenting documentation for Service Continuity Management (SCM) Reviews.
- Responsible for representing the project at Review Meetings for requests for Standards Deviations.
- Identify technical team resourcing requirements for projects and provide details to the Project Manager to secure the resources.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a Technical role or in IT related project
management.
- Knowledge of Gating Change Management SCM Incident & Problem Management Environment setup.
- Knowledge of EDF fundamentals stages and objectives.
- Knowledge of software development and integration technologies frameworks and methodologies such as DevOps (DevSecOps) APIs ETL Agile delivery methodolody.
