Front End Developer
Location: Cape Town & Surrounds (Hybrid or Remote)
Salary: 300k 500k/Annum
Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join our development team focusing on building and enhancing userfacing applications. This role offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of AWS and Salesforce platforms creating solutions that are scalable userfriendly and align with our organizations goals.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Frontend Proficiency: Proven experience with at least one of the following frameworksAngular React or Next.jswith the ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to other related frameworks as needed.
- AWS Expertise: Handson experience with AWS services such as AWS Amplify S3 CloudFront Lambda and API Gateway for building deploying and scaling frontend applications.
- Responsive Design: Strong knowledge of responsive web design ensuring consistent user experiences across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- UI/UX Principles: Solid understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles to create visually appealing and userfriendly web applications.
- API Integration: Proficiency in integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and AWS services
- CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with setting up and managing continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for frontend applications particularly within AWS environments
- Willingness to Learn: Should be open and eager to learn new/unfamiliar frameworks such as Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)
Desirable Skills:
- Salesforce: Salesforce knowledge specifically the Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) is highly desirable for this role.
- UI/UX Design Skills: Design skills/experience is a huge positive for this role
- WordPress Experience: Knowledge or handson experience with WordPress.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications that demonstrate your expertise.
- Agile: Knowledge or experience in agile development methodologies
- DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with DevOps practices including monitoring logging and infrastructure as code
