Job Position: General Manager
Salary Range: Basic from RM5000 RM8000
Working hours : Tuesday Sunday (9am 7pm) Sometimes need to be more flexible

Job Summary:

The General Manager will oversee the daytoday operations of the caf dance and piano studio apparel shop and childrens art centre. This role requires a versatile leader who can manage multiple aspects of the business ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management excellent organizational skills and a passion for the arts and community engagement.


Job Scopes

Operational Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of the caf dance and piano studio apparel shop and childrens art centre
  • Ensure all areas are staffed appropriately and run smoothly and efficiently
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and customer service

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for each business unit
  • Monitor financial performance including sales expenses and profitability
  • Prepare financial reports and provide insights to the owner/director

Team Leadership

  • Recruit train and supervise staff across all business units
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities

Customer Service

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service across all business units
  • Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints effectively
  • Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention

Marketing and Business Development

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the caf studios shop and art centre
  • Plan and execute events workshops and promotions
  • Build and maintain relationships with local community groups schools and businesses

Facility Management

  • Ensure the cleanliness safety and maintenance of all facilities & Coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory levels for the caf and apparel shop & Implement effective stock control systems


Job Requirement

Qualifications

    1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role preferably in a similar multifaceted environment
    2. Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management
    3. Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
    4. Proven ability to manage multiple business units and a diverse team
    5. Passion for the arts community engagement and customer service
    6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business management software
    7. Personal Attributes:
      Highly organized and detail oriented
      Creative and strategic thinker
      Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
      Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make sound decisions
