Job Description

The Role:
- Teach History across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 inspiring students with a love of the past and equipping them with the skills to analyze and interpret historical events and sources.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching History curriculum that fosters critical thinking historical research skills and an understanding of diverse perspectives.
- Play an active role in the schools extracurricular programme leading history clubs organizing trips to historical sites and supporting students in their academic pursuits.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for History education.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of historical periods themes and research methodologies.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the schools ethos and values.
