The Role:
- Deliver captivating History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience.
- Bring the past to life through engaging storytelling interactive activities and thoughtprovoking discussions.
- Foster a deep understanding of historical events figures and movements encouraging students to analyze and interpret historical evidence.
- Develop and implement a dynamic and challenging History curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for History.
- A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in History.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- A passion for History and a commitment to fostering critical thinking and historical literacy in young people.
