Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for your next challenge Join a renowned international research facility at the forefront of scientific innovation! This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role for a forwardthinking client known for their commitment to excellence cuttingedge research and technological advancements.
We are now looking for an IT Project Manager for a project in Lund Sweden. Youll have the chance to join a leading international research facility that is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects currently underway. The facility features the most powerful linear proton accelerator ever constructed with the ambitious vision of operating the worlds most advanced neutron source. This initiative aims to facilitate groundbreaking scientific discoveries in areas such as materials science energy health and environmental research while addressing some of the most pressing societal challenges of our time.
The position is scheduled to start ASAP. The estimated duration of the project is 12 months with the possibility of extension. Please note that this job requires 100% presence onsite in the office in Lund Sweden.
As an IT Project Manager you will be part of the IT Division responsible for managing and executing multiple IT projects to ensure successful delivery. This includes overseeing updates upgrades and maintenance tasks for key information systems and supporting project portfolio management.
Main tasks will include:
- Project Portfolio Management: Develop and maintain an overview of major IT projects and activities for the coming years.
- Project Execution: Project manage multiple IT projects concurrently such as upgrades updates and maintenance efforts.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to present project plans and updates to the steering group.
We expect:
- Education: Certified project manager (PMP PRINCE2 or similar)
- Experience: Several years of proven experience in fulltime IT project management especially in managing updates and upgrades of information system
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
