Technology Business Management (TBM) is a discipline that helps organizations to optimize their IT spending align technology investments with business goals and ensures greater financial transparency. Our expertise makes us their Trusted Advisor to align the interests of Business Finance and IT to drive the change from within.
Tasks
- Client Project Delivery
- Plan manage and deliver TBM consulting engagements working closely with client stakeholders to deliver solutions that drive financial transparency cost optimization and business alignment.
- Assess clients current technology and financial environments recommending and implementing customized TBM frameworks and solutions.
- Leverage TBM tools to provide insights into IT costs value and business impact ensuring clients maximize return on their technology investments.
- Business Development & Strategy
- Identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts and lead efforts to expand TBM services to new clients and sectors.
- Develop strategic partnerships and maintain strong client relationships becoming a trusted advisor for their technology and financial management needs.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership methodologies and tools that support the growth of the TBM practice.
- Practice Development
- Mentor and coach junior consultants and team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive improvements to internal processes frameworks and tools ensuring our consulting offerings remain at the forefront of the TBM industry.
Requirements
- Successfully completed university studies in Finance Business Administration Accounting Economics Information Technology or Information Technology Management
- Experience: 2 years in TBM consulting or related fields with a strong background in technology cost management financial management or IT strategy.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with TBM tools such as Apptio or similar; strong data analysis and financial modeling skills.
- Client Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships and lead consulting engagements.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical and financial concepts clearly to executive stakeholders.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of IT financial management budgeting forecasting and cost transparency principles.
- Very good communication skills in English and German and willingness to travel
