Job Description: Staffing Company Lead HR Shared Service Unit

Job Overview:
The Staffing Company Lead will oversee critical functions within the HR Shared Service Unit
including onboarding payroll compliance and exit management. This role requires an
experienced HR leader with a strong understanding of endtoend staffing services and
shared service operations. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing operational
efficiency and customer satisfaction while actively driving growth by securing client
transfers and expanding service engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
Manage teams responsible for onboarding payroll compliance and exit management to
ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services.
Set performance objectives KPIs and SLAs and monitor team performance to maintain
highquality standards.
Implement process improvements to streamline workflows reduce operational costs and
enhance employee experience.
2. Strategic Client Management:
Identify growth opportunities by managing client transfers and expanding services for
existing customers.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to design service models that
meet clientspecific requirements.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business needs and
ensure high customer satisfaction.
3. Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations related to payroll labor laws
and other employment standards.
Oversee audits and implement risk mitigation measures to minimize compliancerelated
risks.
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audit requirements and
safeguard company assets.
Conducting audits: Coordinating internal and external audits addressing audit findings
and recommending corrective actions
Reporting: Preparing regular reports on the status of compliance programs
Maintaining records: Maintaining accurate compliance records
4. Team Development and People Management:
Recruit onboard and train team members to build a highly skilled and motivated HR
services team.
Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and develop training programs to
enhance team skills.
Foster a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and high employee
engagement.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on team performance client satisfaction compliance status and
other key metrics for executive leadership.
Analyze data to identify trends make informed decisions and present insights for strategic
planning.
Work closely with HR technology and data teams to leverage tools that enhance reporting
accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in any stream preferably BCOM/BSC. MBA in HR added advantage
8 years of HR experience in a shared service or staffing environment with at least 3 years
in a managerial role.
Proven expertise in onboarding payroll compliance and exit management.
Strong knowledge of HR operations employment laws and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high
performing teams.
Demonstrated experience in driving customer growth and service expansion.
Analytical mindset with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking.
Skills and Competencies:
Leadership & People Management: Ability to inspire manage and develop a large HR
services team
CustomerCentric Approach: Skilled in building client relationships and addressing client
specific needs to drive growth.
Process Optimization: Proven skills in process improvement operational efficiency and
quality assurance.
Data Analysis: Proficiency in HR analytics reporting and use of HR management systems
(e.g. Spine Staffing Go Or Other HRMS to Payroll Software).
Problem Solving: Strong decisionmaking skills with a focus on resolving issues promptl Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as CA, CA Inter 2. Proven experience (X years) in internal auditing, with a focus on payroll, revenue, or financial processes. 3. Strong understanding of payroll systems, financial accounting principles, and statutory regulations. 4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. 6. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite. 7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
