Job Description
- Evaluate students speech language and communication skills comprehensively.
- Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups to target specific communication objectives.
- Engage in IEP meetings working with the team to establish impactful goals and tailored interventions for each student.
- Design customized treatment plans addressing various speech and language disorders including articulation fluency voice and comprehension.
- Partner with teachers parents and educational staff to incorporate speech effectively and language strategies into students daily activities and academic schedules.
Requirements
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screen
- Must have an Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement
- Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related degree from an accredited university
