Black & Grey HR is actively recruiting for a dynamic engineeringfocused organization seeking an experienced Ansys Application Engineer Optics. This role combines presales responsibilities with technical support where the successful candidate will collaborate with clients to deliver innovative highquality optical solutions. The engineer will play a critical role in enhancing software revenue by providing technical solutions product demonstrations and training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize advanced engineering expertise particularly in Ansys Speos and Ansys Zemax OpticStudio to deliver topnotch technical support to customers ensuring high satisfaction and productivity.
Collaborate with both potential and current customers to develop optimized technical solutions aligned with operational requirements.
Partner with account managers to drive new business opportunities and sustain robust support for existing accounts.
Provide firstlevel technical support to customer accounts managing and escalating issues as needed.
Develop and conduct introductory technical training on ANSYS Optics products supporting clients in leveraging software capabilities.
Maintain broad knowledge of the technology across all ANSYS products related to optical applications.
Continue professional growth through ANSYS certifications and commitment to technical and personal development.
Contribute to marketing initiatives that foster customer engagement and expand technical capacity.
Requirements
Minimum Master of Science Degree in Physical/Optical Engineering or a related field.
At least 2 years of handson experience with Ansys Zemax Optics Studio or Speos.
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and experience in optical system optimization for targeted performance.
Experience in designing and analyzing laser systems including expertise in beam shaping and focusing.
Knowledge of optical aberrations and their mitigation methods.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools particularly PowerPoint Word and Excel.
