Strategic planning
Business development executives consider the businesss place in the market and its capabilities. They create strategies to address any issues that may impact the businesss ability to achieve objectives.
Analyzing competitor activities and market dynamics
Business development executives research market trends and competitors to stay up to date with the current industry. They also brainstorm ideas for creating and launching new products or services.
Business development executives should also have excellent sales management and interpersonal skills. They should be strategic thinkers team players and able to work well under pressure.
