About this Job:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Accounting Manager at our Peterborough Ontario office. As a key member of our leadership team the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth building client relationships and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage client engagements delivering highquality audit tax and advisory services
- Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes
- Review tax provisions for clients
- Build positive working relationships with clients and respond effectively to their requests and suggestions
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for various clients
- Stay current on the content and practical applications of tax accounting and assurance standards and know how to access and research professional and technical materials
- Design and review processes procedures and workflows within the department
- Collaborate with managers and other senior managers for capacity and resource planning
Qualifications and Experience:
- Completion of Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a proven track record of success in client service and business development
- Strong technical skills in accounting auditing and tax compliance
- Experience working with Caseware/Caseview Jazzit Keystone Excel and Profile
- Advanced Canadian tax knowledge personal corporate excise and advanced knowledge of Canadian GAAPs ASPE and ASNFPO
- Ability to mentor coach and develop junior staff
