Purpose of Role:
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing applications that align with business requirements and mapping these to technical solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with Business Analysts Project Managers and Developers to deliver comprehensive solutions for Business Users. A deep understanding of PNBs business model operational challenges and available technology is essential to create integrated and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with System Owners to plan and execute projects ensuring teams have clear business and technical specifications and guidance.
- Collaborate with System Owners Business Users and Business Analysts to understand both functional and nonfunctional system requirements.
- Continuously evolve the architecture and applications of existing systems to meet changing needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Management Information Systems or a related field.
- IT Architect certification or completion of IT Architecture training (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial sector especially in investment and unit trust.
- At least 5 years of experience working through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to deliver business solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including users and IT teams.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex technical information to all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong knowledge of web application development and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with current application development standards methodologies and best practices
