Position Overview: The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving growth and revenue for the company by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.
This individual will be responsible for prospecting qualifying and nurturing leads as well as managing relationships with existing clients to maximize upsell and crosssell opportunities.
The role involves a combination of cold calling and engaging with warm prospects to promote our IT support services and solutions.
You will be required to work UK hours and must have a proven track record in B2B sales preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and identify potential clients through cold calling networking and other leadgeneration activities.
2. Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and pain points of prospects and effectively communicate how our IT support services can address their challenges.
3. Qualify leads and schedule appointments for further discussions with the sales team.
4. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
5. Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion strategies.
6. Build and nurture relationships with existing clients to drive upsell and crosssell opportunities.
7. Keep abreast of industry trends competitors and market developments to identify new business opportunities.
8. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities pipeline status and revenue forecasts.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record in B2B sales preferably in the IT services or technology industry.
2. Strong cold calling and prospecting skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence decisionmakers.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
5. Resultsdriven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
6. Strong problemsolving skills and a strategic approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
7. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and other sales tools is preferred.
