Job Description

Job Specifics:

  • Based at Head Office Centurion
  • Extensive travel Gauteng Mpumalanga Limpopo and Northwest Regions
  • MUST have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle

About the Role:

Focus: sales and business growth in the Agriculture Sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in marketing and selling returnable packaging and technology solutions contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future.

This role requires a proactive professional with a strong sales background and a passion for building meaningful client relationships across Gauteng Mpumalanga Limpopo and North West regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to meet annual sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for technology solutions including applications such as Spray Harvest Scouting Asset Management and Pruning Visibility.
  • Drive sales of returnable packaging solutions for harvest storage and equipment supply.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and query resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions based on specific requirements.
  • Conduct market research to track competitor activities pricing and product development.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports with detailed variance analysis.
  • Partner with Business Innovations Key Account Management and intercompany teams to enhance solution delivery and resolve challenges.
  • Stay informed about industry trends customer needs and emerging technologies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and professional workshops.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification relevant to sales business or agriculture.
  • 5 years of industry sales experience with at least 3 years in agricultural supply chains.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with web applications mobile apps RFID/barcode scanners BTLE devices IOT instruments and GPS tracking devices.
  • Knowledge of custom factory (packhouse) integration equipment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office CRM and BRM tools.
