About the Role:
Focus: sales and business growth in the Agriculture Sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in marketing and selling returnable packaging and technology solutions contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future.
This role requires a proactive professional with a strong sales background and a passion for building meaningful client relationships across Gauteng Mpumalanga Limpopo and North West regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to meet annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies for technology solutions including applications such as Spray Harvest Scouting Asset Management and Pruning Visibility.
- Drive sales of returnable packaging solutions for harvest storage and equipment supply.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and query resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions based on specific requirements.
- Conduct market research to track competitor activities pricing and product development.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports with detailed variance analysis.
- Partner with Business Innovations Key Account Management and intercompany teams to enhance solution delivery and resolve challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends customer needs and emerging technologies.
- Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and professional workshops.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification relevant to sales business or agriculture.
- 5 years of industry sales experience with at least 3 years in agricultural supply chains.
- Proven track record of closing deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with web applications mobile apps RFID/barcode scanners BTLE devices IOT instruments and GPS tracking devices.
- Knowledge of custom factory (packhouse) integration equipment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office CRM and BRM tools.
