Job Opportunity: Car Rental Company Reservations Agent (Italian English)
Location: Malta (OnSite)
Working Hours: Monday to Sunday between 08:00 AM 07:00 PM (Shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours)
Contract Type: Indefinite
Cross Border Talents is looking for a dedicated Reservations Agent to join a leading Car Rental Company in Malta. If you are fluent in Italian (C2) and English (B2) have a strong background in sales or customer service and enjoy working in a fastpaced environment we want to hear from you!
Requirements:
- Fluent in Italian (C2 level) and English (B2 level) both written and spoken.
- Previous experience in sales and/or customer service is a must.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Team player with the ability to maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Typing speed of at least 25 WPM (word processing skills).
Salary & Benefits:
- Basic Salary Progression:
- 1st Month (Training & Practice): 5.50 per hour
- From 2nd Month: 7.48 per hour (Including COLA 2023)
- From 7th Month: 7.74 per hour (Including COLA 2023)
- After 12 months (based on performance): 8.21 per hour (Including COLA 2023)
- Language Allowance:
- 600 annually (paid in monthly installments for Italian speakers)
- Performance Bonus (KPIbased):
- Up to 2500 per year based on performance eligible after 6 months
- Contract Type: Indefinite

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage car rental reservations including bookings changes and cancellations ensuring a smooth process for customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone email and chat addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate rental options upselling additional services and providing information on terms and conditions.
- Process payments and ensure that all customer details are accurately entered into the reservation system.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and build strong relationships with customers.
- Ensure that customers receive the best experience from reservation to vehicle return.
